The Refuge

Our Leaders 18+ will be interviewed, background checked, and every volunteer will require a pastoral reference. Additionally, all leaders will have to sign a code of conduct giving them expectations to present themselves as Christians inside and outside of the club. (High School volunteers under 18 are required to do all except the background check). The Refuge will be an avenue for high school and college students to further develop their gifts for ministry. The Refuge Director will schedule a time to meet individually with each volunteer annually to discuss their ministry direction (ministry in many forms, i.e., music, teaching, mentorship, etc.). They will turn their God-given passion into purpose while seasoned leaders encourage these new leaders to good works (Hebrews 10:24-25) - Coming alongside them as they lean into their area of ministry.
